Entries are confirmed when proof of payment is received.
Once all entries have been sold you will be placed on a waiting list and receive an automated email as and when space becomes available because of cancellation.
Entries on the day will be accepted ONLY IF the maximum number of entries has not been reached by pre-entries.
If late entries are available they will incur a R50 late entry fee on top of the normal fee.
Upgrades and downgrades are allowed as long as the Series and/or individual race to which you want to move has not sold out yet. For example: if you entered the MCS Ultra and want to downgrade to the MCS Extreme it will depend on the availability of each of the respective races in that Series.
Runners who wish to upgrade or downgrade to a different distance need to email the organisers on info@wildrunner.co.za to request this change
SUBSTITUTES:
In the event a confirmed entrant is not able to make the race and they have their own substitute and wish to transfer their entry, they will need to give their race number to the new entrant to enter with on the day at registration (substitution can also be done at pre-registration).
Substitution will however result in your MCS result falling away.
The substitute will need to pay a R50 substitution fee at registration.
WAITING LIST:
A waiting list will come into effect once all entries have sold out. If we have not received proof of payment for your entry within the time frame specified your entry will be cancelled and transferred to the next person in line on the waiting list.
REFUNDS:
Due to the nature of the industry we are not required to refund entries other than for hospitalisation or death. However, refund requests will be dealt with on their own merits depending on length of notice of written cancellation received before the event and our ability to secure payment from another participant from the waiting list. Please note that we may charge a reasonable cancellation fee if the refund request is approved.
Any refunds made will be paid within 30 calendar days.
